Purpose Discovery & Storytelling

Purpose Discovery & Storytelling

Discover what drives you and lead with purpose. Creating a purpose around your work and your leadership will help you to develop your own framework of thinking allowing you to make decisions more comfortably. It will also help you to develop your personal story. I believe storytelling is a hugely important component of leadership and I can help you to develop your storytelling skills and find your own personal narrative.

Transition from Clinical to Corporate

Transition from Clinical to Corporate

There are specific challenges with the transition from clinical medicine into a corporate, commercial environment. Careful consideration of these challenges and how to navigate them will help you to settle quicker allowing you to focus on your impact, growth and development. This remains true as you progress in your career and newer aspects of the Life Sciences industry open up to you.

Networking & Relationship Building

Networking & Relationship Building

Bulding your network and relationships is extremely important throughout your career. Understanding when and how to use it is just as important. Building genuine connections can help you to navigate any corporate situation as nobody achieves anything of note on their own. There is always a support network, whether professional or personal, that has helped you get where you are.

"Total Strategy" Mindset

"Total Strategy" Mindset

Inspired by the Dutch concept of Total Football, I have developed a unique way of approaching strategy that will allow you to navigate any situation you find yourself in using a Fundamental Framework of problem solving that can be applied to any challenge. People are often labelled "strategic" or not; this is inaccurate. It can be taught and I have developed an approach to help you understand your strategic strengths.

"Portfolio Leadership" Mindset

"Portfolio Leadership" Mindset

Alongside "Total Strategy", "Portfolio Leadership" allows you to understand the various aspects of leadership, the different styles and types, and when to use them. Leadership is not a singular, nebulous concept that people are born with. It is tangible, variable and can be trained and refined through practice and application.

The "Impact Onion"

The "Impact Onion"

An area of weakness as a whole for Medical Affairs is measuring and demonstrating its impact and value in quantitative terms. Traditional metrics tend to be activity based but I will help you to understand and develop a framework of thinking based on layers of measurement (hence the onion!). I will also use data and impact measures to track your own development as an individual leader in Medical Affairs so you can see the progress you are making and the impact you are having.
